About Ish

Hello, I am Ish, a proud alumna of Parsons School of Design's Integrated Design program. My unique approach to art lies at the intersection of art and fashion, passionately seeking to redefine the boundaries between the two.  
 
I am deeply drawn to exploring fabric techniques such as crochet, and embroidery, among many others as I find immense joy in the tactile richness they offer. This intimate, hands-on interaction with materials is fundamental to my creative process. Moreover, I find that the time-consuming and delicate nature of these practices speaks to my experiences of existing in the world as a woman. 
 
The heart of my creations centers around themes of nostalgia and the complexities of the human experience. I approach my work through a feminist lens, valuing inclusivity and the exploration of womanhood as integral aspects of my artistic philosophy.
